Morning Spotlights

Part 1

Discover the People Who Can Help You

Morning Spotlights

9:00–10:00 AMStage B — Main Hall

The morning begins with fast-paced one-minute spotlights featuring CONTENT sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, speakers, teachers, and organizations.

  • Who they are
  • What they do
  • What services and resources they provide
  • What opportunities they offer
  • How they may be able to help you

Many of those being spotlighted will have tables set up inside Stage B — listen carefully and note the people and organizations you want to meet during the networking time that follows.

Networking and Exhibitor Tables

Now turn those introductions into conversations. Visit the exhibitor and vendor tables throughout Stage B and personally connect with the sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and organizations spotlighted this morning.

  • Introduce yourself
  • Exchange business cards
  • Ask questions and learn about services
  • Discuss projects and opportunities
  • Begin building meaningful professional relationships

Do not simply listen to the spotlights — go to the tables and start the conversation.

Jobs, Projects, Cast, and Crew
11:00–11:45 AMStage B — Main Hall

Part 2

Discover New Opportunities

Jobs, Projects, Cast, and Crew

11:00–11:45 AMStage B — Main Hall

The spotlight turns to jobs, projects, acting roles, production needs, cast and crew positions, and creative opportunities. Producers and creators seeking actors, directors, crew, writers, editors, marketers, and other creatives each get one minute to:

  • Introduce themselves
  • Share their projects
  • Explain exactly what they need
  • Describe the roles or services they are seeking
  • Tell attendees how to connect with them

Actors — Listen for Your Next Role!

Listen closely for casting opportunities, upcoming productions, and producers or directors searching for talent. Be prepared with headshots, résumés, business cards, and a short introduction about the roles you are seeking.

Producers and Creators — Find the People You Need!

Spotlight your projects and explain what you need to move forward — from cast and crew to creative, technical, marketing, and production services.

Cast, Crew, and Creative Professionals — Be Ready!

Directors, screenwriters, camera operators, sound professionals, editors, marketers, and other media professionals should be ready to introduce themselves and connect with projects that need their talents.

You could hear about the exact acting role, job, project, or opportunity you have been praying and preparing for.

Lunch, Networking, and Exhibitor Tables
12:00–1:30 PMStage B — Main Hall

Lunch, Networking, and Exhibitor Tables

12:00–1:30 PMStage B — Main Hall

Lunch is served in Stage B — but it is more than a meal. Sit with someone new, continue the morning’s conversations, and visit the exhibitor tables.

During lunch, we will introduce the Content Connect Collaboration Platform and show you how it can help you continue:

  • Networking
  • Developing professional relationships
  • Sharing opportunities
  • Promoting projects and services
  • Collaborating with other creators

These connections do not have to end when the conference is over — Content Connect helps you keep building, sharing, and collaborating throughout the year.

Authors, Screenwriters, and Directors — Spotlight!
1:30–2:00 PMStage B — Main Hall

Part 3

Introduce Yourself, Share Your Services, and Find Collaborators

Authors, Screenwriters, and Directors — Spotlight!

1:30–2:00 PMStage B — Main Hall

Part 3 places a special spotlight on authors, screenwriters, and directors. Each can stand, introduce themselves, explain what they do, and share what they need.

Authors

Spotlight your books and stories, and share whether you are searching for screenwriters, directors, producers, or others who can help bring your work to the screen.

Screenwriters

Spotlight your experience and services, and let authors, producers, and directors know what kinds of stories and projects you are interested in developing.

Directors

Share your experience and interests, and spotlight the kinds of stories, scripts, cast, crew, and creative professionals you are looking for.

After the spotlights, this is an opportunity to:

  • Turn books into screenplays
  • Turn screenplays into productions
  • Turn ideas into projects
  • Discover new stories and scripts
  • Find creative partners
  • Turn introductions into real collaborations

Your next story, screenplay, director, or creative partner may already be in the room.

Afternoon Networking, Interviews, and Exhibitor Tables
2:00–5:00 PMStage B — Main Hall

Part 4

Connect, Be Seen, and Discover Opportunities

Afternoon Networking, Interviews, and Exhibitor Tables

2:00–5:00 PMStage B — Main Hall

The afternoon is filled with connecting, networking, visiting tables, and following up with the people spotlighted throughout the day.

Some exhibitors, vendors, organizations, and media representatives may be:

  • Conducting personal or professional interviews
  • Videotaping attendee interviews
  • Asking questions about your work in media
  • Looking for cast, crew, talent, or collaborators
  • Sharing highlights through live social media

Do not be surprised if someone walks up to you and asks:

“Who are you? What do you do in media? What kind of opportunity are you looking for?”

Be ready to answer — and come prepared to clearly communicate:

  • Who you are
  • What you do
  • What experience and services you bring
  • What projects you are working on
  • What opportunity or collaboration you are seeking
  • How people can contact you

One conversation — or one interview — could open the door to your next opportunity.
